Nox abso-fucking-lutely has a body count, and views murder as a (usually) permanent solution to a temporary annoyance. So while it won't be his first impulse, once he's decided someone needs to die that's pretty much it for them.

On the bright side, it also means being under his command is probably one of the more survivable postings anyone from the Imperial navy could ever hope for, since if shit goes sideways and it wasn't actually your fault he'll actually confirm that and let you live.

(if it was your fault and the fuckup was bad enough, your final contribution to the cause will be as "a learning exercise" for your peers)

Looma is completely indifferent to it and just sees violence as a natural part of life, but her people are also ridiculously difficult to kill so it kind of explains where the attitude came from.

Literally every version of my smuggler is perfectly fine with murder but like

it's gotta be personal

(and they genuinely don't count actual "surviving a shootout with Imperials" unless it's for bragging purposes, they differentiate that from more murder-y murder)

(which is exactly the sort of categorization you should keep in mind when trying to figure out exactly how their respective moral compasses are calibrated)

(like sometimes a couple dozen guys are all trying to kill you, you'd prefer to avoid that outcome, so sometimes you just gotta fight about it)

the agents absolutely view all lives as a question of how much paperwork they will have to fill out to end them
