I flew into Luxembourg from Amsterdam by way of Munich yesterday. The Amsterdam flight was delayed by like an hour and 10 mins, and my connection time was only an hour and a half

WHAT NO

Me to flight staff: Hey I'm worried about my luggage, should I swap to the later flight?
Them: No! You'll have 20 whole minutes to get to the gate, it's fine
Me: I have checked luggage though
Them: Its fine! The plane won't leave without tit

I'm leaving the tit because it amuses me

But anyway folks guess who DEFINITELY LEFT WITHOUT IT

despite my Luxembourg flight also being late

I land to a nice email that says "oopsie daisies, your bag is on the next flight"

(I was gonna say, you should leave the tit lmao. can't leave without tit!!)

it's only an hour and a half so I'm annoyed but whatever, I'll get dinner at this tiny ass airport (IT IS SO SMALL) and wait an hour and a half for my bag

I go up to the luggage counter to ask if it'd go directly to them or if I should wait at the luggage carousel

"Oh that flight's already been delayed. It won't get in until after our office is closed so you should just go to your hotel, we'll send it there at 10:30 tomorrow. We'll call you in the morning to confirm"

Plurk, you will be shocked to hear that they did not call

Lufthansa apparently DID NOT get my bag on EVEN THAT FLIGHT. So it didn't get to Luxembourg until 9:30 this morning

I found this out by calling them

also lmao Luxembourg is so small when they asked me what hotel to send it to I was like "The Doubletree, I can get the ad--" "Oh no, there's only one, I have it here"

BUT YES it went out on the 12:30 delivery. Which means it could arrive between 12:30 - 5pm apparently. I'm only here until tomorrow so I was like "Fuck it, I'm exploring the town in what I've been wearing for 24 hours, it's fine"

I bought a dress and underwear in town just in case my baggage got further fucked, and apparently I can make Lufthansa pay for that so I'm gonna

but BAGGAGE FINALLY OBTAINED

OH NO

just in time for my noon flight to Berlin tomorrow

what a nightmare

Then it's a quick night in Dublin before I go back to the states

If i'd waited to check it at the gate I'd have gotten it as I got off board in Munich but NoOoO I decided to be "a planner"
