Been playing AFK Journey since I'm traveling for the eclipse atm without my laptop

It's fun! But slows to a crawl around level 72 or so

To bide my time while I wait for the afk level up items to trickle in, I've been camping the "Team up" chat

Sometimes people ask you to lend them a hero

Sometimes it's actually co-op

And sometimes when people are truly stuck at a fight you get to commondeer their line up to fight in their stead

Which is by far the most interesting

Because you get to see which you like, which suck but also

When you commandeer a whale, oho

So I got to do that, holy shit their line up was a dream. They were stuck on some insanely high level fight. But their team just sparkles, so who cares

Anyway I won on their behalf, they sent me heart eyes and you get a small reward that's pretty negligible

So I look this person up

They're #1 progress in the server. Literally highest stats of everyone

So on one hand, that's interesting to see. But also the fight wasn't that bad, which makes me think they just don't know the mechanics all that well

But when yoir team sparkles, I guess there's generally no need

Whales are friggin wild, observing one in their natural habitat is crazy

I feel like it would get boring if every hero you had was top tier, like where is the challenge

Wonder how much they spent on Genshin lol

Ah well, the game is fun, art is really cute, characters aren't bad. Most things got translated but you catch the odd

Yeah, a few things slipped through here and there. The hump starts at 60~ and generally doesn’t get better LOL, but raising your AFK level definitely pays off over time once you hit the delay

i have read nothin of this plurk beyond the first post, i've been looking at AFK

mostly because the Edge of the World song is so fucking pretty

It's pretty good? From someone who doesn't know mobile games, I've been liking the different modes

Honor mode or whatever it's called is my favorite haha

but now that i have seen the rest of it... whales sure are an interesting species

No one makes Marauder teams so if you run Wildling teams there you'll likely dominate

Usual mechs like 4 factions each has a strength and weakness to another

And ya lol the whales stick out way more because the game is relatively new

So average f2p are at one pace and the whales are just free willying across available content

AFK Arena has a distinct art style, so AFk Journey using that as a base has given it such a pretty look.

And the music is very good thus far

Ya the atmosphere and visuals are better than I expected
