yeah thunderbolts was basically a continuation of the bucky arc in sentinel of liberty with an ensemble cast and much worse art.

Thunderbolts and shaky art are old friends

fun action team-up book, not much like thunderbolts? fine, though. i'm appeased since the jackson/kelley sentinel of liberty stuff was probably the best bucky story since brubaker.

anyway the end of issue #2 had this happen:

jackson commented on twitter today that it was set up from SOL issue one which has been cool to see how they've adjusted SOL being cut short and putting this in.

yeah i 100% believe that.

this seems very much like "the content i didn't have time to do in sentinel of liberty jammed in at the end of this other series" and hell, make it work.

the lost glove comment felt so random at the the start of SOL

anyway post-thunderbolts #2 i was wondering if this was supposed to be a post-mission adrenaline-fueld hookup or something more permanent?

i wouldn't be surprised if there was originally going to be more of a set up to this had it happened in a less-rushed sentinel of liberty finale but i don't think it's necessary, tbh.
