Normally, I just fall into a hole of farming and making that cash.

I mean the simplest thing is if it is year one, make a chest and get the forage goals and sit on them

I went out to forage for the stuff, fell down a rabbit hole of mining.

as far as rizzing up folks go, i know the homeless guy that lives in a tent is extremely ez to befriend in early game, he's happy to get almost anything

but as far as romance goes, it depends on who you wanna go for. like i was torn between sam and sebastian for a while and they both have very different likes. sam is happy to get the pop cans you fish out of the lake while seb likes pretty rocks

but yeah in early game, you're gonna be foraging a lot, and then eventually seeing what plants you can harvest, and eventually cows and chickens get you a steady income
