Graupel?

We got actual snow snow.

Apparently graupel!

There was pattering like rain before I went to sleep, so... maybe that's what it sounds like?

5 inches of fluffy snow on the ground in Mid Michigan right now.

I like to stand by the door or window when it's graupeling. Makes a hissing sound.
