Vet visit happened. More steroids, an opioid and IV fluids for the most recent flare up. I made a follow-up appointment for Thursday in case this doesn't work

They gave me an oral steroid for her to start tomorrow, but she has to stop having nausea first so we'll see

She just chilling for now, but my anxiety from last time is creeping up despite my brain doing everything to be like "calm the fuck down" etc.

I will say though. I have treated the last month where she has been well as like "borrowed time" and I think it's helping me deal with this a bit better

She's clearly doing her best, but sheesh this damned pancreatitis just won't stop

The vet who was super good to us had a day off today so I had to see another vet. Which is fine! But the other vet went through the whole ordeal with her and I think just knows her better. But the medications aren't so dissimilar so I'm hoping it will be enough

Meanwhile, the guild is ... uh. Fine?

But the complainer actually did confront the other officer about his "feelings" of "angy" and ...... well, the other officer sent me the entire convo because he was like "What did I do..."

BECAUSE the complainer has literally know concrete criticism. It's all just ~feelings~ and that's useless when you are trying to be constructive with someone

Oops I meant "no concrete" but I also wanted to say "literally doesn't know" at the same time so we got that abomination

So then a third officer ended up involved because he is IRL friends with the complainer and mutual friends with the officer who is getting the complaints. The one receiving complaints had messaged him with similar "Did I do something wrong?" and here we are

So third officer talked with complainer like "dude, wtf" and .... somehow I got an apology from the complainer about the ordeal because. YA HE HAD NO IDEA I was annoyed lmaooooo go figure

For the record, I mildly vented to third officer earlier because I was like "what is wrong with him today" about the complainer because they know each other. So I made my side of the problem known and then the complainer messaging him probably solidified his perspective on what was going on

Sorry this is all very confusing but.

Nothing has really been resolved. But I now have the one receiving complaints feeling gaslit because he isn't sure what he's doing to warrant such hostility. I have the complainer apologizing to me instead of the person he gaslit. And a third officer with a headache trying to babysit these two grown ass men so I can sleep at night for a few hours
