What's his name? ~~Whos his daddy?~~

j/k on the second, but where's he from, and what first pinged your muse about him?

Jynxed: He is Zeneth from Culdcept. You may recognize him as Najaran's rival (I'm assuming Chicklet has mentioned him before. Also both his real father and his adoptive father Master Salvator are VERY much dead and the latter's death is a source of trauma.

Finding out about him is a funny story. He was in Culdcept Saga when I first played it a long time ago, but him being a secret character made me forget he even existed that game despite unlocking him.

I then played Revolt and... forgot about him again. To be fair for Saga and Revolt, neither of the plots stuck with me the first time since it had been a long time since I played both.

Finally, I replayed Revolt again, and his cool design and entertaining antihero behavior caught my eye. I then brought him in the Culdcept server and found out he was in literally every single Culdcept game and the manga, and that was when I realized I should really deep dive him.

*brought him up I mean. Also in the Revolt replay, I will also say I liked him out the gate. It's just that he grew on me even further as I played and even more so when I deep dived.

Looking over his older appearances helped me really appreciate his Revolt self too. Turns out he's definitely matured over the series... his entertaining passion for fighting still burning bright aside.

Also I know you were joking on the "who's your daddy" question but Salvator's death made a lot of who he is, hahaha

Oh he matured SO MUCH from where he is in the manga (Najaran's canon point is from the manga. >.>)

Even compared to the second game's remake, which is after the manga, he's matured a lot

(Revolt is the fourth game in the series, and the manga is an adaptation of the first game)

Also, it's ZenEth. Not ZenIth. Saying that ahead of time because while him being misnamed is luckily not a thing in canon, he WILL correct anyone who misnames him.

Oh yeah, it's super funny that I somehow forgot his existence twice before my replay because he has a problem with being ignored and abandoned in canon. WHOOPS.

AT LEAST I AM NOT FORGETTING HIM NOW.
