I was listening to the audiobook of Rogue Protocol when I had to have my eyes shut last night and I think it's so interesting in this context how much SecUnit likes Miki but also can't admit to liking Miki even in its own thoughts bc they 'can't be friends' bc they can't trust each other bc humans -

The way SecUnit tries to not like Miki too much and tries to not like Three too much too

And has an even harder time with Three, because a) Three is less of a goober and b) its resistance is worn down

The way that Three is way more wounded but SecUnit still kinda thinks of it as naive...

SecUnit can't handle its feelings about how Miki has never been abused! Its feelings about Three seeking to help it and the others even though it has been abused are even more complicated
