This doll is over 60 years old and is called a crolly doll because it was make in a place called Crolly in Co. Donegal. It is a rare piece of Irish history because the factory that made the doll is now gone. There was even a song out called The crolly doll by Phillip McCaffery. It is on YouTubeCrolly Doll

This doll is called Maura since my mam was small. When I'm finished doing her up I will keep her forever. I just need to get the cryer, repaint her again and get a dress that fits her, preferably a 60's and shoes.
