Blank:
1. I have plenty of muses, but sometimes can only focus on a handful at a time.
That being said, I'm more than comfortable playing multiple people against one.
2. I've tried play from LA canons, and it's just not for me. I'm tempted by the LA One Piece canon.
Previous attempts were similarly campy Super Sentai canons. So I think that helps if I try. The campier the canon the more likely I'll play with it RP wise.
Oh, and I tried to make a joke Luke Skywalker account, darth_twink
but never did anything with it
3. I play mostly dudes. I have played women in the past, but, dudes
If I did more games I'd probably play more girls.
4. I haven't really kept up with what's popular, and then when I get into things they're obscure in the dwrp scene.
Magic: The Gathering, League of Legends
OR the canons I play from are now older and not as popular as they once were; Kuroko's Basketball, Haikyuu!! is starting to head that way.
I like games. But I can really only do one game at a time, it seems.
6. Some set up is always good when doing PSLs or letting your partner know your character's probably going to go off if things keep going in the direction they're going. Or doing a time skip.
but part of RP is you never really know how your partner(s) will react. And that's what makes it dynamic.
7. I have long been of the opinion that less is more. I think it came from studying to be a screenwriter (hah)
So sometimes worry that my partner(s) won't think I'm putting in as much effort. And it's just how I ended up?
I majored in creative writing in college, focusing on theatre writing to start, then moving to fiction and poetry when I had a very bad experience with my ex in the screenwriting class. I needed to get away from him. And I was enjoying my time with the poetry instructor anyway.
and two of my best friends were there, so.
Anyway. I am capable of more. which leads into
8. I strive to strike a good medium between action and emotion.
when I really go into introspection is when my tags can get long.
... but at the same time, it's can feel like I'm repeating emotions the character's having over and over. Whereas the character can be moving their hands, and even if they repeat the action, it's a character tic that can convey the character's agitated.
Show, not tell. That was another thing I was taught.
that being said, if the other player is being introspective, it always characters I play, like, oh the oh so observant Oikawa Tooru, to pick up on things.
so it's mostly a 'me' thing
