I found one of my malleable erasers, so that's been a godsend in being gentler to the paper. I'm pretty heavy-handed

But using CSP has its upside: because I use a model, I can see the structures and make a better guestimate of how things should look when drawing the full structure and details

Regardless, I can't picture the exact line I want to place until after I see it on the page.

but, i should attempt to at least made doodles with pens more often.

I think I fixed his eyes!!

preserving the sketch in case it looks bad after I ink it later.

I lightened the lines with my eraser to try to minimize smudging later.

I feel rather accomplished. <3

I was gonna use my glass pen but I was like "ehhhh effort. I'll do it this way instead."

And it's easier to (try to) correct anatomical errors as well.
