I've always wanted to work at one, but my employment path just never went that way. I wasn't really expecting a call back since I had no direct library experience, just a lot of skills that would work well in the position.

I haven't had a normal interview in a long time. Everyone wish me luck for next week! It's just a part time library assistant position, but it's in walking distance and it would be steady pay instead of this up and down I've been getting from my subcontractor job

annnnd depending on how the hours work out, I might still be able to do the subcontracting stuff on the side? We will see if my boss' attitude improves once the contract is in place. Right now, I'm really not impressed with how she's been acting.

I am both terrified and excited. LOL what a mix of emotions.

If I manage to get the job, I will have to take a civil service exam and that is a whole other ball of wax to deal with, but one step at a time!
