how do u search ppl to talk to on plurk?

Click up at the top right under interesting people. It's not a search per say but you can find people to chat with.

You should be able to find loads of people to chat with.

do u know how to search ppl by location?

They don't have that functionality quite yet.

You can invite from other Social networking sites or e-mail address.

You can do it. It's worth the effort.

i still prefer to chat in person...

I know but this can be just as fun. Once you get used to it you'll be chatting up a storm.
