eventually comes crashing out, already dressed for swordplay. "Ahaha! Sorry to keep you waiting~"
shakes her head and bows. "Ah, it's okay Takeshi-san. I'm sorry to have imposed on you like this..."
You're not imposing at all.
leads the way around the back, to the hall where he and his father train.
lets Chrome enter first. "Here we go~"
wide-eyed at empty space and the vast wood floor inside the dojo. She quickly removes her shoes and gingerly steps in
... do you train here a lot, Takeshi-san?
I try to! It's been hard to keep a daily schedule these days though~
... because you're always at the boss' house now?
"Ahaha, yeah, among other things.
" he moves to the center of the room, stretching.
Ready when you are!
nods, props her bag against the wall, and walks to the center of the room as well, at least 5 paces in front of Yamamoto.
no idea what to expect, or what to do next.
... um, do I have to use a sword, Takeshi-san?
Why not use your own weapon? Might as well practice, right? :0
perfectly confident in his abilities. Neither of them are going to get hurt, even if they're using blades.
extends her hand and materializes the trident in front of her, gripping it, she bites her lip and looks up to the boy
Takeshi-san. You've seen how I fight. Or, rather... how Mukuro-sama uses me to fight. I don't really know how to fight with a weapon.
I've only learned how to use illusions. But I want to learn how to really fight. Can you teach me?
I'm not the best fighter around, but I guess I can guide you a little? You'll have to strike first though.
Then we can work from there!
that he was somehow lying about not being the best fighter, although she hasn't exactly seen him fight yet. He might seem clumsy...
but she knew that there was something else there...
grips the trident in both hands. Pauses, sliding her feet apart, and lunged at Yamamoto with weapon forward
easily sidesteps, unaware of the shift in his expression the moment Chrome came at him.
Hmm. Try that again.
wasn't entirely surprised that he easily avoided that. Though she thought that she saw his face change once she charged at him...
concentrated more on her next move. She would still lunge at him, and when he sidesteps she'll swing the trident in an arc to catch him
braced herself once more, brow furrowed in concentration, feet planted apart so she could turn her body easily, and strikes.
lets the blow come, knowing that Chrome's footwork is too awkward, and he can bat it off easily.
not move to hit her yet. Chrome needs to familiarize herself with the weight and balance of her own weapon first.
That was a little better.
Stick to the basics first though. You're... not quite used to your weapon yet, from what I gather. Ahaha.
now was surprised that she was able to hit him. Or rather, that he let her hit him. "... ah! Are you okay? Are you bleeding?"
... but basically, I just hold this like a staff. I don't really know how to physically fight with it...
Nah. I parried it well enough!
Hmm... I'm no expert at this, but I think as a general rule, a weapon with a pointy end really can't be used as a staff, ahaha.
that was a bit obvious ^^; But since she was an illusion user... "... ah, hai, Takeshi-san..."
You gotta be more careful with your footwork. That way, you can put a little strength into your blows.
Distance is important too, but always know where your feet are.
Else, you might end up tripping over your own moves, and that's never good.
...Ahaha! I'm just shooting off here, huh?
listening intently, yo ^^ "... ah, yes, that does make sense..." She says, looking at her feet.
that she might not have a lot of strength, but if she puts her weight into her blows, maybe she might cause actual damage.
Ah! Practice more with your weapon too! Like, swing it every day. That tends to work! :0
I can play practice dummy with you for today, if you want. Or we can borrow one of the ones here~
...Although, you wanted a duel, right?
to know about Chrome and Kyouya stuff, okey!
that she will be thoroughly trounced in a duel with him. But she was curious of his skills, and how he got to be one of the boss' guardians
... if you don't mind me using my illusions for this duel, I'd like to...
leans back and grins. "I don't mind too much, I guess. Although..."
If you're out to learn your weapon, it might not be a good idea. Ahaha.
sighs. He's right, of course. But curious girl is cuuurious...
she can learn how to handle the trident physically in another session, perhaps...
Yamamoto if they can duel with their skills against each other.
chuckles. He was kind of expecting that.
Sure. Why not?
unaware of the fact that his smile is different now.
