good...you picked up on that "cowboy" stereotype. They don't fit any type of generalization...which presents a problem for the reader

Yeah I agree, when speaking of the "stereotypical gay male," many don't think about rough cowboys - usually they're more feminine

committed homosexual acts they dont consider themselves gay because they don't fit their own perspectives and stereotypes of what "gay" is.

homosexuality is. Plus the idea of what a "man" is...definitely breaking some perceptions there
