but why though? It's not like shit, boogers or wax and it certainly doesn't smell nor does it spread infections.

any form of personal grooming should be kept personal. besides, this is annoying... the clipping sound. and the bits fly around.

I got a manager who clips _his_ nails in the office.

it had a colleague who used to do that in the office too. drove us NUTS.

laughs... this came up as a dinner discussion recently. Friend was reading on train, woman across clipping nails, nail landed on her book.

therefore yes - if it is done in a public space and if you are dropping your nails willy nilly. Ick.

have you ever came across lady supervisor who paints their nails in the office? I did, many years ago

it's not boogie or anything but for me, personal activities shld be done in personal domains. my personal space has been intruded enuff!

thinks is alrite if the nail bits aren't left ard for others to do black magic on the owner ...

points out it's a hygiene issue because all sorts of nasty germs accumulate under nails. They're closer to boogers than you might realise.

if this is a related point but a pet peeve is long toe/finger nails. guys and gals.
