during a thunder/lightening storm the other night, I walked past my 8 yr old daughter's rooom

who was supposed to be asleep

and saw that she was kneeling on her bed, with her face glued to the window watching the lightening

so I came in and we had a nice time watching the storm together.

Lovely.

that's nice. I could stand to do that.

it is slightly sprinkling outside now so the storm is getting closer.

my son? TERRIFIED of storms.

I love storms but one of my Lurchers gets absolutely terrified. He is a wreck with them

I never have been. Maybe because my dad was an electrician and he would always have to go out in them.

my husband is an electrician.

what causes fears anyway? My son is the only one in the family afraid os storms.
