Spore hawkers and restaurants are serving unduly big portions. Result - sleepy after lunch and increasing obesity in the population.

just think of the common hawker food - wanton mee, hokkien mee, beef hor fun, etc. how much protein is there on 1 plate? At most 10%

cost is the biggest reason people don't make a conscious effort to eat more protein than carbo, but we should be willing to pay for health.

most food portions in SG is too small. Needs at least 2 helpings to be full. Carb good, proteins better.

i like e cedele @ raffles city shopping mall. their mains r very good! avoid the desserts though. i heard gd things abt cedele wheelock too!

just tried “the Stock Pot” new cafe at esplanade. replacing the EarShot. the soups are not bad.. salad so-so..
