does anyone have any recommendations for good quality (but not too pricey) noise canceling head phones?

I had a pair that worked fairly well that I got at Walmart a few years ago for $20. I would rather buy a new pair of nice $20 headphones tho

Creative has some very nice ones. I have a pair and they are excellent and cheap:

Darren, you're not allowed to drown out the babies cries with a fancy headset. Your woman would not be impressed.

sennheiser is definately the norm. Hence their a bit over average price tag, but it's worth it.

not only have do they have great noise reduction, they also have a safety for (deafening) noise peaks due to transmission hiccups.

, is this for Henri? You shouldn't cry so loud. They probably don't make them in baby sizes!

the way Dana thinks! Put the feelers out and offer to review headsets!

I have some icemat audio headphones, not noise cancelling -- but they sound awesome -- ran me 80 bucks.

otherwise I'd have to recommend a pair of Shure's if you're willing to spend the loot.

Bose EC2 (over-ear). When flying every week, that are invaluable and well worth investment. 2nd best spend of money in 2007 for me.

I have Bose QC3 but I wouldn't classify them as "not too pricey". I see them as an investment, they've paid for themselves I love them!
