Unless you set them up as staged payments from the start, 30/30/40 or depending on the cost 50/50, works a treat.Then they know no different

you don't have to justify being paid for the work you do!!! They can't buy a house or a car without paying for it or any other bloody

service, so why should creative industries have to wait 30 plus days!!!

staged is the only way to go for us little freelancers. But they still drag their feet. Boo to them.

yeah it's sucky. We pay our freelancers on delivery and all our other suppliers we pay 30 days. Don't know why businesses drag it out.

45 days is just plain rude. If they can't afford your services they shouldn't use them or they should be more transparent about their terms.

it was lovely to find out that they wanted to pay 45 day terms AFTER the contract stipulating my terms had been signed and sent back. Grrr
