so get this: i made an appointment to get my cat neutered and i went to this particular place since its literally just down the road so

oh god this story will not end well

it would be easy to get my cat there. I ask them how much its gonna cost to get the opertation done: $160 for the operation, $45 for

bloodwork, which is "reccomended" and en extra $60 since they've never seen my cat "healthy" so they wanted to do a check up so they can

see him healthy. I told them they can kiss my ass. OH and on top of all of that, they failed to mention that my cat would need the check up

the day BEFORE i booked the appointent to get him neutered! WHAT THE HELL?!

oh yeah, and since i took him in for worms earlier on, they wanted me to pay an extra $30 to have a second stool sample done to make sure

the worms were gone, even though he hasn't had any worm-related problems since he took the meds to get rid of them. UURGH

SERIOUSLY GO TO THAT PLACE I KEEP TELLING YOU ABOUT

that's bullshit though, considering that spaying and neutering is such a big part of owning a pet, you'd think they'd make it easier

they should make the damn thing next to FREE if they were really concerned about keeping the stray population down

i understand for lab/checkup work and all that, but yeesh.. that's a LOT. i know they have to stay afloat and they're not really subsidized

by the government (at least i don't think so...) it is no reason for them to rip you off like that. getting them fixed should be a really

affordable thing to do considering how important it is
