All those reasons are debatable.
Celebrity skin - Google has that too.
Contracts - If Android is open enough, they'll be considered a hinderance.
what's to debate? The contract, the open design, the open to developers platform? I'm wondering what you're on about.
Apples SDK is super restricted and if Apple doesn't want you there, then you're SOL.
you can have your closed proprietary system. I much prefer open source development to some corporate entity controlling everything
I will wait for this. I will continue using my crap phone until I can get a sweet Android enabled phone
I'm saying that you could argue those things, but I think that Android is better.
Steve Jobs can shove it all where the sun don't shine. Sure they are slick, but the iPhone is a corporate tool
everyone is getting slammed on those contracts too. It's not good to be paying those kind of fees. Waaaaay too expensive.
I hate, hate, HATE THE IPHONE.
And I'm saying all the reasons on that page are bunk!
me too, I refuse. People think Apple is cool because it stuck to the man... but Apple is the Man now.
I must have misread you there
Beonarri. Sorry, I thought you were saying the iphone had the stuff. I was whigging a bit.
Bold experimentation is crap. OOOOooooOOoOoOOOOOOooOOO, a touch screen /sarcasm.
I just can't swallow those phone contracts. They are amazingly unrealistic. I swear that phone is for either millionaires
yeah and I thought the US contracts were bad
I want to wait for the HTC Dream.
You think the American contracts are bad, look at the Canadian contracts.
a physical keyboard. So I'm not too keen on the HTC touch.
Think a Crackberry would work well enough.
the slider keyboards, that way I get a bigger screen
had a treo before and liked it and the Jazjam from HTC and that's the design I like the best so far. Although they don't wash with jeans
A slider like those ones with the full qwerty keyboards?
Yeah, the slider keyboard works very very nice. I can type on it so easily. It is a full qwerty board yeah. Handles like a well...dream
to the non-keyboard variety
chiefie
That'd definitely be nice to have...well, it'd be nice to have a phone beyond a normal cell phone.
I'm addicted to SMS messaging with
flowerdie. We both miss it since I decided to bleach my phone along with the rest of my clothes.
does she have a smart phone? can she install Skype?
she has a smartphone but using the Web in NZ is murderously expensive on a cell phone.
the only way we can afford it is to do a buddy program. SMS is one price for as much as you want to message. It works out.
