hard to replace twitter due to no. of users despite all the recent problems but plurk has some nice features which twitter could do with..

i think plurk is more personal. only add real friends, update less freuently. comment more

agree re real friends - feel like i can maybe be a little more 'loose' in here, whereas twitter/ friendfeed i try to be more professional
