it's both good and bad that I wasn't phased by the language in the poem. Good because you can't exactly analyze a poem if you're horrified

I agree. But I wouldn't really compare high literature to rap. It seems like it should be held to a higher standard,

and yet there is no difference here.

That's a good point, it makes me wonder what will come in the future. If we've come this far so that this language does not phase most

people in our world today, what will it be like in 10 years from now? (Kind of like another aspect to that video we watched in class)
