I dont know alot about it but from what I read, Georgia attacked South Ossentia, and Russia responded.

Perhaps Russia "over-responded" - but wouldnt the US do the same thing? Im just not getting this.

I guess Im kinda hawkish when its justified, meaning if that happened here, I'd be all for enough agression to make them not do it again

well, the US might have done the same thing in a similar situation, but then they'd be considered the bad guys too, probably

Probably not the best international policy, I suppose! But it always worked for me

well, my parents did the whole "just ignore them" thing... never worked back then, but it does now... at least for minor annoyances
