I am in St. Vincent De Paul
which I believe is run by the Vincentians
and not by diocesan priests
I think...but am not positive...it is a little on the liberal side
lots of folks attend outside their physical boundaries, too
It is a beautiful church.
Remember, you don't have to go to your territoral parish. You can choose the one which fits you best.
Oh. This church you gave me information on has a casino night. I do not believe in gambling. This is not the values and morals I teach my
that website hasn't been updated since 2005
I'm pretty sure they have switched pastors and most likely no longer have it
I also believe that the man is the head of household and the woman's role is to be subordinate and submissive to her husband
most parishes have phased out the casino nights because we have real casinos here now and no one is interested in such things
According the moral doctrine of the Church, gambling in and of itself is not immoral... however, gambling away your income or property....
And you risk addiction to gambling if you frequent casinos.
And people who are tempted to gamble excessively ought not go to a casino, because that is an occasion of sin for them.
I just do not agree with it. I am training my children up to have a servant's heart and to avoid all evils.
I feel gambling is an evil.
That is very good of you.
