i suggest adding a year/semester code at the end password_09a password10b wierd that password10a will be next year. LOL

The doc you sent says every 90 days...wouldn't this change it to twice a year, maximum?

Yes, I got the new file. That's for students---K-12 put out by the 'State of Arkansas'

if memory serves correctly the staff password thingy is policy, the student document is a best practice or something less powerful.

I think you are correct that they use the words, "best practice".

I think a district can be in compliance without complying with that document, since it is a best practice document

Yes, but the security boilerplate stated that student passwords had to be changed every 30 days. This would allow changes-max twice a year.

I thought there were grade levels involved with those. K-4 twice a year, 4-12 every 90 days... As said, that is best practice, not reqd.

I am going to make my people change theirs every other week. But mine will stay the same forever. :-) (LOL)
