The only thing I know of is some work on the security policies, not the Disaster Recovery Plan that schools are also needing.

There are plenty of folks that think a fill in the blank DRP is being created.

there is a sample DRP but she asked for the security plan.. so i figured she ment IT

Yes, I mean IT. I went to the disaster planning training yesterday that DIS is doing, but it's a city/state type model that doesn't fit us

#7 is the continuity plan. That's what DIS is doing with indepth training. :-P

Yes, but the continuity plan is the part that is causing the most work in my area.

I agree after seeing the model by DIS yesterday. Good luck with that. I've heard there's some models being developed for that too

I've been told that some people think I'm creating one, but I don't know anything about transportation, facilities, food services, admin.

I have a school plan/template sent by Amber Stiles-Emerson. It is probably lots more than we need, but maybe we could adapt it.

we don't have anything officially in writing that shows our compliance with the IT security policy. We're waiting for DIS to do ISO trng!
