some dont like it but it does have some uses. but I am the one who has mostly sock yarn and cotton yarns.

maybe because back in the day acrylic felt and looked pretty bad. It may not have lived down that reputation.

I still use it for easy care projects. I make Linus blankets and they have to be acrylic. Bought some for work sweaters b4 found superwash

that all yarns have qualities that make them desirable for some projects & less so for others.
