sometimes it's wrong. if you choose to hide your relationship status, and you're in a relationship, it gives you the broken heart sign.

i think that sometimes it's hard to start a conversation with: "yeah we broke up". especially if you don't want to go into details

and get sympathy/empathy. even more so if you are not really comfortable with the situation yet and would rather not relive it.
