I still haven't been able to prepare tofu well. Any suggestions?
umm I think pressing it helps the texture and flavor(wrap tofu n towel, set on a cutting board and cover with another cutting board and put-
-several soup cans on top, leave for 15 minutes) It also helps to salt it. Tofu is great for absorbing flavors in soups, curries ect. But-
--tofu tends to turn to mush when you cook it too long. I've also had good luck freezing and dethawing tofu. All in all you want to get as
much moisture out of the tofu as possible before cooking it.
