true. I only put on a lot of make-up during cosplay but most of the time I'd rather not put make-up at all.

Putting on make-up for a show (like cosplay, or theater, etc) is understandable. It's part of it. But I just know some people who put too...

much EVERYDAY that doesn't blend well with their skin tone. Splotchy, bright blushes. Foundation that cakes up. Mascara that clumps up.

I think they do more damage than good. If they feel ugly and need to cover it up with so much, I'd rather see what's natural, than someone

who is obviously trying to cover up imperfections. And failing. /rant (yeah, I can't keep my 30 day-no-rant bet)

But anyway what they do with their faces is none of my business. I just wish I don't feel like poking my eyes out when I see them./mean mode

I actually understand sales ladies a bit though... I feel like they are required to put that on as part of their uniform. Or something.
