Srsly. And if you find your timeline getting too full you can switch off individual friends w/out "un-friending" them.

this is much better than Twitter. Try the mobile version on your Desktop PC and that may help to simplify the apparent chaos.

Plurk takes some getting used to, but much more efficient than Twitter for conversations. Twit good for sharing info, links, announcements.

karma - no worry; just leads to emotes. And emotes - use 'em or don't; the conversations are what matters here.
