Branding is important. Also I think settings.py shouldn't be a part of the repo. Instead it should become default_settings.py and we create

...a settings.py per project. Like Django. Anyway if you please solve the issues access issue I'll write all these down nicely.

you can have per-project settings that override the solace.settings

the settings.py act as default settings only
