the netbook specs is acceptable since I don't do much graphics nowadays. Much of the work I do resides in a publicly accessible server.

I'm still waiting for a friend's review - who shifted some of his coding work to a EeePC 1005HA. He is also trying out Java coding with it.

my sister uses an aspire one too. she's a CS major, so i guess it might be ok for coding stuff.

can't say much about the eee pc except that my dad uses that one.
