just watched the Dark Knight last night and thinks it is the most mature superhero movie ever made. Definitely worth the money.

it's a demanding movie , though, moggsie. lots of nuances but great performances from everyone. btw the Chinaman is a friend of mine.

incredible thing is, the wife also was visibly affected. She thought it was deep too, but we're both fans after 'Memento' anyway.

my woman loved it too, but then again she and I like this kinda thing, along with stuff like Neil Gaiman.

my woman isn't a comics person - she's just into good movies.

that's the test, isn't it? When a work can stand on its own and appeal to fans and outsiders alike. Very hard to pass that test.

Muser already! Anyone who likes Neil Gaiman is okay in her book! And, thanks for the good reviews about the film. I might just go!

Neil Gaiman is like reggae to me. Always great but i never re-listen or re-visit.

Parsival's analogy! Glad to hear you're a fan too, Twink
I re-visit, as well as re-listen (I've got Gaiman stuff on CD).
