Wow, what a coincidence. I am reinstalling Debian on my machines.

what did you use to clone your machine? Clonzilla & PBA are the two I use most.

is simply using dd.

and for fixing UUIDs I use blkid and tune2fs.

BTW: I usually only clone Windows machines. So no dd.

Take the hard drives and put them temporary into a linux machine, clone them and put them back into the its box.
