I find that if you make it a "thing" to plurk 2x a day for a week, you're hooked. But it's messier. You actually get to know people here.

It's less "in your face" tech-y at first. More human with conversation. Imagine talking this way on Twitter? We'd lose dozens of followers.

I just read a thread where a plurker helped a semi-newbie learn how to take a screenshot on a PC today. That'd be ignored on Twitter.
