I mean we sort of know our neighbors Would anybody call the police if a stranger looked like they were trying to get inside

I doubt that any strangers would try to rob us since we have 'beware of dog' posted & the puppy goes ballistic when anyone knocks

& since I can't hold the puppy back, I don't answer the door

the last time I tried to answer the door, all I could do was try to yell over the sound of the puppy barking

he ended up knocking me down, I had pulled over a lamp, I ended up on my back

he was very concerned, he licked my face, then into my mouth, which made me laugh

& the more I laughed, the more he licked, which just made me laugh more

It was only my neighbor & I told him that when my Y comes home I would send him over to see what was needed

the puppy is more protective of me since I had the stroke

the puppy has never taken to strangers well but he's worse now

most of my neighbors don't speak english

then I'm guessing that they're Mexican & that you could learn their language a little bit enuf to say "hola" right esse?
