hates flying too!

I have a flight to Vegas Friday and yep Xanax are ready to go

I'm loading up on Dramamine for my Friday flight

you get motion sickness flying?

yes

and sometimes from riding in the back of a car

and sometimes from certain video games

I'm so lame

there's nothing lame about it

i'm just afraid it's going to fall out of the sky!

flying doesnt make me nervous...i love it actually. DH on the other hand gets nervous

also, I'm very scent-sensitive and get migrained from strong smells/motion sickness. I hate when I get on a plane

and people have coated themselves with perfume

and the bathroom soap they use is WAY perfumed on planes

I can spend the whole flight sick as a dog

no, it's not. So I gotta load up on dramamine, bring migraine meds, and HOPE like hell people leave their perfumes at home

i can only buy certain perfumes too cuz dh is scent sensitive too...gets headaches

so have to go shopping with him for it

you can try dramamine and bonine, they help with motion sickness and make you more relaxed too

i dont have motion sickness, just really nervous. I cant use something thatll make me sleepy.....4 kids!!!

maybe some music and book to read?

Tawnya, I'm always nervous about flying...and, my Dad was in the Air Force and I was in the Air Force and I've been all over the world!

I play a mind game with myself where I tell myself that I'm just in a room on the ground and I keep telling myself this over and over.

Plus, you tell yourself that you can't afford the luxury of panicking as you need to keep your kids calm and reassured.

yeah, i know. i just keep thinking about it. the last time i flew, i just told myself over and over again that we are still on the ground.
