if it's such a good idea to go to Italy and visit his family tomorrow, Accuweather gives me horrendous heat & humidity, up to 53°C RealFeel!
nopes come to Germany instead!! 18°C and thundery showers... 
but thats coming for friday
and tommorrow its just nice and hot for sitting on a bus for 2 hours']
looks like there is no real escape, there will be 2 or 3 cooler days in germany and here in vienna over the weekends...
...but for the next 2 weeks besides that it's all above 30°C, and in Italy well above with tropical humidity

Lake garda is lovely!! I'm actually at Lake Konstanz this weekend at a show.. Which isnt as beautiful as Lake Garda for sure!!
ah, Bodensee, been there often in the past, a friend of my uncle has/had (dunno) a catamaran there, it was fun!
and I remember excessive bbq in the evenings...but haven't been there in years
we got a hotel at Lindau on the island part
but thats as close as we can get a room to Freidrichshafen! 30 km away!!
