OK...I'm a glutton for punishment....
so you were saying SLC story
in SLC back in the 90s on biz.....
friend and I went to the Tabernacale to see if there was anything going on....
we spoke with some of the "sisters" at the tabernacle....
asked as to where a good place to eat was...
went to that restaurant several hours later, and the maire d asked me (by name).....
the sisters had called ahead and advised the restaurant we might be coming by....
the Mormons may be a bit weirs, but their hospitality is exemplary
on that trip, it was the first day of the first Desert Storm....
we put aside all the biz discussions and spent entire day in their conference room with their staff watching CNN
we are no longer a mormon majority state
No.......but still dry as ever?
well that depends on what you mean by dry
as in liquor, you bawdy one...
no, it is very dry as in drought, your the bawdy one now
liquor store, every gas station and grocery store sells beer
plus restaurants with bars
not my vision of UT...needs to evolve
just IMed with an old colleague I mentored 15 years ago....
don't make me put you in my privates!
