昨天第一次在夜晚穿越校園走回我的宿舍，才八點多但校園裡已經沒什麼人了，經過學校鐘塔時覺得那鐘好像眼睛一般看著底下的人。今天一查，果然Tolkien也這麼覺得（硬要蹭XD）
根據查到的關於Tolkien與伯明罕的資料，伯明罕大學的校園結構給了他Isengard的靈感，而中間的鐘塔則據說啟發了Eye of Sauron。我真是意外選對了學校
